The Limburgs Museum was designed in 1995 by Jeanne Dekkers Architectuur. After a successful expansion in 2012, the Limburgs Museum is ready for a new renovation. The starting points are a green and transparent entrance and a new public function in the old petrol station.
Jeanne Dekkers Architectuur has analyzed the current use, the museum square, the volumes, the construction and the materialization of the current museum. With these analyzes, several scenarios have been created for the interior, a number of expansion options and the outdoor space. We’re now working on a final renovation and transformation plan based on these scenarios. This plan will become part of the new green museum quarter of Venlo.
