Jeanne Dekkers

Architect – director

Jeanne graduated from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1978. Her degree thesis was an urban design for the Maastricht district of Randwijck Noord which included the architectural development of the Maastricht City Theatre. After completing her degree she joined EGM Architecten, where she became a board member in 1988. During her time with EGM she was responsible for the design and completion of many projects. In February 1998 Jeanne started her own architectural practice, Jeanne Dekkers Architectuur, based in Delft and has since then been responsible for many widely-acclaimed projects. Jeanne plays an active part in the wider architectural scene, where she continues to serve on numerous boards and juries. Her involvement in these roles enables her to maintain a position in the forefront of the contemporary trends and ideas of her profession, Jeanne is also a writer of many years’ experience, and her works include the well-received Over schetsen (On Sketching), Jeanne Dekkers Architectuur, 2005.
